Soil Testing, Inc was founded in 1958 by Robert J. DeAngelis (1928-2003), a Civil Engineer, in Ansonia, CT and is presently being managed at its current location in Oxford, CT by James A. DeAngelis, an Engineering Geologist (M.Sc., P.G.) with over 30 years experience in subsurface investigations.
With over 50 years experience in test borings, we understand the importance of having a knowledge of subsurface conditions for the design of foundations and we take this experience with us to projects in the feasibility, construction and settlement correction phases. We take pride in getting the information (with test borings) our clients need to design new foundations and carry this same regard into our pile installations and underpinning services.
