The firm was founded in 1958 by Robert J. DeAngelis (1928-2003), a Civil Engineer in Ansonia, CT, and is currently being managed by James A. DeAngelis, an Engineering Geologist (M.Sc., P.G.) with over twenty five years experience in subsurface investigations. SOILTESTING, INC. provides a full range of services including Test Borings, Diamond Core Drilling, Monitoring Well Installations, and Geoprobe Sampling. SOIL TECHNOLOGIES, a division of SOILTESTING, INC., provides services for new construction and existing buildings with foundation support systems & underpinning including Resistance Piers, Helical Piles, Micro Piles, and Soil Nails. The versatility of our principles, associates, and staff allows us to successfully and economically apply our talents and expertise to diverse project needs.
